Terms & Condition
Welcome to Wise Medical Billing (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
1. Services Provided
Wise Medical Billing provides medical billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), credentialing, contracting, and consulting services to healthcare providers and practices. All services are performed in accordance with applicable industry standards and payer regulations.
2. Client Responsibilities
By engaging with Wise Medical Billing, the client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and timely documentation and patient data.
- Ensure that medical documentation supports the services being billed.
- Cooperate in credentialing, payer communication, and claim resolution efforts.
- Inform us of any changes in provider status, contracts, or practice operations
Failure to meet these obligations may result in delays or denials that Wise Medical Billing is not responsible for.
3. Fees and Payment Terms
Fees for services are agreed upon in writing and are typically based on a percentage of collections or a flat-rate model. Clients are responsible for payment as outlined in the signed service agreement.
Late or non-payment may result in the suspension of services until balances are resolved.
4. Confidentiality & HIPAA Compliance
Wise Medical Billing is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of all patient health information in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We will only access, use, and disclose protected health information (PHI) as necessary to perform services and as permitted by law.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and administrative safeguards to protect all data shared with us. However, no system is 100% secure, and we are not liable for breaches beyond our control, such as cyberattacks or third-party service provider failures.
6. Limitation of Liability
Wise Medical Billing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use our services. Our liability for direct damages shall be limited to the amount paid for services rendered within the last 90 days.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination, any outstanding balances for services rendered will remain due, and we will assist in the transition of billing data if requested.
8. No Guarantee of Revenue
While we strive to maximize reimbursements and reduce denials, Wise Medical Billing does not guarantee specific collection results or revenue levels, as outcomes depend on documentation, payer policy, patient compliance, and provider cooperation.
